Prestige High-Efficiency
Residential Boilers
MCBA Control
Prestige residential boilers from Unique automatically adjust blower speed and
gas flow using advanced microprocessor controls. This modulates the boiler firing
rate to match boiler output for space heating or DHW heating demand.
Prestige high-efficiency residential boilers respond to signals from the room
thermostat, supply water temperature sensor, flue temperature sensor, domestic
hot water aquastat and outdoor temperature sensor.
Standard features of the Prestige residential boilers include:
- Digital display module
- Ignition control
- Operating control
- High temperature limit protection
- Modulating temperature control
- Low water protection
- Optional outdoor reset
- Domestic hot water priority
- Two pump controls (heating and DHW)
- Boiler freeze protection
- Factory tested
- Limited 10 year warranty
- Stainless steel heat exchanger
- Stainless steel burner
- Negative pressure gas valve
- 30 psi relief valve
- Flanged Taco 007 circulator
- Drain valve
- Pressure gauge
- Condensate drain assembly
- 24 V terminal strip with removable jumpers for manual reset or
automatic reset of extreme controls
- NTC temperature sensors on the boiler supply/return and flue
Prestige Residential Boilers Have a
Stainless Steel Premix Burner
The high-grade stainless steel burner in Prestige residential boilers uses
pre-mixed air and gas, providing a 25% to 100% modulating firing rate.
The Prestige burner delivers a long life, quiet operation, reliable spark ignition,
and clean combustion.

The blower, gas valve and venturi provide the optimum gas and air mixture.
The blower pulls in air and gas through the venturi. The air and gas mix inside
the blower, and are pushed into the burner for combustion. The gas valve
senses suction from the blower and allows gas to flow only if combustion
air is flowing and proper combustion is achieved.
Control Panel with Digital Display

A 4-digit electronic display and programming buttons provide system information
and error codes for easy troubleshooting. They allow a maintenance contractor
to make programming adjustments to the heating system.
Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger
- 3 consecutive baffles guide water flow through the exchanger
and around the combustion chamber.
- High water content (2.5 gallons).
- Stable temperature control.
- Less sensitive to water flow.
- Unparalleled resistance to corrosion.
- Less sensitive to sludge.
- Self-cleaning: condensate washes combustion residue away when
streaming down the tubes, resulting in consistent efficiency and
reduced maintenance.
- Low pressure drop.
